About UT and Austin

Welcome to Austin, the state and vibrant cultural capital of Texas!

For more about the UT campus and Austin, please see:  https://meetattexas.com/about/neighborhood

Conference Hotel

The 2024 Public Address Conference will take place on the University of Texas at Austin campus, September 22-25, 2024.  We will be using the AT&T Conference Center and Hotel:  https://meetattexas.com/

We have a room block with a rate of $199 per night.  Please use the conference hotel code (https://book.passkey.com/go/PACCON0924) when you book your accommodations to get this special rate (otherwise, it may be $350+ per night).  We encourage all conference participants to stay at the conference hotel because in order to get this rate, we reserved a room block and we must fill 90% of the rooms in order to meet our contractual obligations.  At the same time, we understand that the special rate is expensive for many people, but if you are able to stay in the conference hotel, please help us out by doing so. Book rooms before August 23, 2024 for this rate.

If you are a graduate student looking to share a room with another graduate student, please contact Stacey Sowards at stacey.sowards@austin.utexas.edu; we will try to connect you with others who are interested in room sharing.
