60 CMS Students Honored
A virtual ceremony on December 4 honored students across the college who completed their degree requirements. There were 54 December graduates with CMS majors. Of them, four graduated with honors, three with high honors and three with highest honors. In addition, 6 graduate students who completed their degrees over the summer were recognized. Department Chair Craig Scott, in presenting the degree candidates to the Dean, noted that “these students have completed a rigorous set of courses from our world-renowned faculty in areas related to corporate, political, and interpersonal communication.” He added that these students “have developed skills that will allow them to thrive in a media-intensive world that demands both excellent presentation and collaboration skills as well as the ability to listen and effectively evaluate message credibility.”
