Current Research Interests: I am interested in the intersections of caste, aesthetics, and economies. My work explores how caste is mediated, embodied, and articulated in markets through aesthetic forms and practices. I am also attentive to the affective labelling of caste on digital platforms, and how such platforms produce and circulate caste-based hierarchies through visual, textual, and sensory cues.
