Individual Events
Welcome to the website of the University of Texas Individual Events Team, part of the Texas Forensics Union. The Individual Events Team is the official competitive speech organization for UT, housed in the College of Communication, and is supported by the Dept. of Communication Studies, the College of Liberal Arts (beginning 2007-08), and the Student Government of the University of Texas. The team is also the organizing point for the Athaeneum Literary Society, the Rusk Literary Society, and the Delta Sigma Rho – Tau Kappa Delta National Speech Honorary Society.

SPEECH TEAM ALUMNI: UT Individual Events will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its founding beginning in the Spring of 2008. Please check back often for planned events. In 2008-09, the team will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the charter of UT’s Delta Sigma Rho chapter.
