Current research interests: I am interested in the ways in which humor and carnivalesque protest can be integrated more effectively into feminist rhetoric, social movement rhetoric, performance studies, and ethnography.

Outside hobbies & interests: I love the following activities: reading, writing, yoga, cooking, watching television series on DVD, and traveling. Also, I coach the UT speech team. The students, along with the rest of the coaching staff, are constantly making me laugh and give hugs. Also, I recently started writing greeting cards.
