Current research interests: Rhetoric and Political Communication: Specifically, presidential rhetoric and the study of the presidency, public address, candidates and campaigns, partisanship and public opinion, voter cynicism, Senator Barack Obama. Thesis was entitled “Explaining the Audacity of Hope: The Rhetoric of Illinois Senator Barack Obama”
Outside hobbies & interests: Sports (especially the Red Sox, Patriots, BU Braves, and Longhorns!), current affairs, politics, the ocean, travel, working out, and changing the world!
What you think makes UT or Austin unique, cool, or "weird": Austin is a fabulous city with some of the friendliest people in the country! The UT community has incredible pride for the University and I enjoy seeing so much orange on people, buildings, and cars!!!
