Professor Featured in National Audio Forum on Increasing Diversity
On October 21, Communication professor Rick Cherwitz, who heads up UT's Intellectual Entrepreneurship Consortium (IE), presented "How Institutions Can Diversify the Graduate Student Body" for a national audio forum with Inside Higher Ed. The forum included representatives from 40 institutions, including Stanford, Ohio State University, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Brown, University of Indiana, North Carolina State, the American Psychological Association, University of Maryland, Rochester Institute of Technology, University of Nevada, the American Chemical Society, University of Iowa, Pittsburgh, University of Illinois, The Scripps Research Institute, University of North Carolina, and the Mayo Clinic.
